How are you?

Today I participated in a Women's Affordable Care Act (ACA) teleconference facilitated by The White House - specifically Jordan Brooks and Valerie Jarrett. The information shared was enlightening and served as a great reminder of some of what this thoughtful and humane law brought to bear - i.e., insurers no longer deny coverage due to pre-existing illnesses/conditions and young people who extend their studies or are endeavoring to build the foundations of their lives will be tossed out of their parents' insurance plans due to age.

Since we know that the new administration campaigned to end the Affordable Care Act and likely its coverage for 20 million Americans as soon as possible, I am encouraging all eligible Americans to please get covered now so that you are able to inquiries such as "How are you?" with a bright reply along the lines of - "I'm well, thank you."

Sincerely,

Mrs. Leverette
